A creative Web Designer opportunity has arisen within the development team of a large Peterborough based PLC. The Web Designer will be responsible for designing and developing the front end of web based applications and custom web site including banners, ads and ongoing development and changes. In this role you will be joining a team where you will be responsible for participating in multiple ongoing projects. You will be working in an environment where your input to the design process will be valued, you will have autonomy to use your creative flair and will be offered guidance and support where required.
To be a suitable candidate for this requirement you will need at least 12 months commercial experience in a Web Design capacity. Your technical skills will include a strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including the manipulation of images in PhotoShop and Web content management via DreamWeaver. This business prides itself on the quality and content of its online presence and therefore you will need experience coding in HTML and CSS to ensure that W3C and WAI standards are met.
Any experience with Flash and ActionScript is likely to be extremely beneficial to your application, although not essential.
